What we collect

We collect anonymous, aggregated information about how the reader is used. This helps us understand which features are helpful and how future books can be made more useful.

• Page views and performance metrics via Cloudflare Web Analytics. This is cookieless and does not identify you.
• Reader events such as opening a chapter, completing a chapter, playing or pausing audio, switching voices, changing playback speed, and downloading a book. These events include only the book identifier, chapter identifier, and feature detail (for example, the voice or format). No personal data is included.

What we do not collect

• No names, email addresses, accounts, or passwords.
• No IP addresses, device fingerprints, or advertising identifiers.
• No cookies or third-party trackers.
• No exact reading positions, search terms, or clipboard contents.
• No information from your browser beyond what is necessary to display the page.

What stays on your device

Your reading progress, font preferences, theme choice, audio playback rate, and selected voice are stored only in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device. You can clear them at any time by deleting site data for this domain in your browser settings.

Your choices

You can disable anonymous event metrics below. When disabled, the reader stops sending custom events. We also respect browser Do Not Track signals.

How long data is kept

Anonymous event data is retained by Cloudflare Analytics Engine for approximately three months. Cloudflare Web Analytics retains dashboard data for six months. Local data on your device remains until you delete it.

Services we use

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Anonymous metrics are handled by Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare Analytics Engine. No other analytics or tracking services are used.
